What is Health Care Quality?

Health Care Quality is getting the right care at the right time. Information on health care quality is important in making good health care decisions. The Office of the Patient Advocate publishes three annual Report Cards that collectively represent the care provided to 22 million Californians through commercial employer-supported and individually purchased health insurance

What do the stars mean?

The stars on the Report Cards tell you how successful each medical group and health plan is at helping members get the care they need. Four stars means excellent care.
