Why is it important to have a highly rated health plan?
How you feel about your health plan depends on your experiences with your doctors and their staff. The best HMOs and PPOs have doctors that help you get the care that you need when you need it.
What can health plans do to ensure high ratings?
Highly rated plans make it easy for you to get the care you need. They also have doctors and staff that listen to you carefully, explain things clearly, and treat you with respect.
What do the stars mean?
The scores show the percentage of health plan members who highly rated their plan by giving the plan a score of 9 or 10 on a 0 to 10 scale. A higher score means more patients highly rated their health plan.
The scores are based on information from a survey of a sample of at least 100 health plan members in 2022.
