Heart Care Summary 2022-23 Edition

Why is it important to get good heart care?

Good heart care can help prevent a heart attack or stroke. Highly rated health plans have doctors who work with you to help monitor your heart disease. The doctors will regularly check and help you to control your cholesterol and blood pressure. If you have had a serious heart problem, such as a heart attack, the doctors will also make sure that you get the right medications to ease heart pain and to help lower your chance of another heart attack.

What do the scores mean?

The stars tell you how successful each plan was at helping patients with heart disease get the care they needed. More stars are better.
