Treating Adults Summary 2023-24 Edition

Why is it important for adults to get the right care?

Good care means getting regular check-ups, getting vaccines on time, and getting medicines when needed. It also means checking for problems if you take medicine for a long time. Highly rated HMOs and PPOs make sure that you get recommended tests and treatments. They also make sure to not give you any unnecessary treatments that are either unhelpful or could cause injury or illness.

What do the stars mean?

The stars tell you how successful each plan was at helping adult members get the care they needed. More stars are better.
