Language Services

To learn more about language assistance and services for non-English speaking members, you must first tell us the type of insurance you have.

Select one of the following types of insurance:

  • Group or Individual Plans
    A group HMO plan is health insurance that you get through your job. Your employer pays part or all of the cost of the plan. An individual HMO plan is health insurance that you buy yourself. You pay all of the cost of the plan.
  • Medicare
    Medicare is health insurance paid for by the federal government. It is for people who are 65 and older and for some people under 65 who have a disability.
  • Medi-Cal
    Medi-Cal is health insurance paid for by the state of California. It is for people with low incomes. In other states it is called Medicaid.
  • Healthy Families
    Healthy Families is low-cost health insurance for children and teens who do not qualify for Medi-Cal and who do not have other health insurance. Healthy Families covers health, dental, and vision care.
  • Healthy Kids
    Healthy Kids is health insurance for children and teens who do not qualify for Medi-Cal or Healthy Families and do not have other health insurance.
