Summary 2020-21 Edition

Behavioral and mental health is an important part of quality health care. If you have major depression, highly rated HMOs make sure that you can see a doctor or mental health provider quickly and regularly and get the right medications. If you have been hospitalized for a mental illness, it is important that you receive follow-up care with your doctor or a mental health provider. Or if you have problems with drug or alcohol dependence, highly rated HMOs also see that you stay in follow up treatment.
