Why is it important to have a medical group with high ratings for doctors and care?
Medical groups that are highly rated by patients provide medical care and satisfactory customer service that supports the patient’s individual needs.
What do the ratings mean?
The ratings show the percentage of medical group patients who highly rated their doctor and overall care. The higher rating means more patients gave their doctor and care a high score. The best medical groups have doctors and other staff that are rated highly by patients, receiving a 9 or 10 out of a possible 10 points.
The ratings are based on a survey of a sample of medical group patients, who had a visit in 2022 and calculated by the methodology set by the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH). The scores are based on at least 146 patient surveys.
