Getting care when you need it is important for everyone’s health. If you are ill or injured you need to be seen more quickly. For check-ups or other routine care, you need to get an appointment in a timely manner. Medical groups that earn high ratings evaluate the urgency of your symptoms and consider your health history and needs when scheduling your routine and urgent care appointments.

Highly rated medical groups have appointment systems that help make sure you get the care you need when you need it.

What do the ratings mean?

The ratings show the percentage of patients who highly rated their experience getting appointments when needed and whether visits start on time. Patients also rated medical groups on getting help for a problem when the doctor’s office is closed or during office hours and getting an answer when calling with a medical question. The higher rating means more patients said they are getting the care they needed at the right time.

The ratings are based on a survey of a sample of medical group patients, who had a visit in 2023 and calculated by the methodology set by the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH). The scores are based on at least 203 patient surveys.

Patients Rate Overall Experience data reflects MY 2023 scores (Spring 2025 Medical Group Report Card). While there is no Patients Rate Overall Experience data for MY 2024, we are displaying the two-year data to support consumer choice in accessing healthcare services.
